FSAA Presents Key Recommendations to Football Australia
The Football Supporters Association Australia (FSAA) is pleased to announce the successful submission of key recommendations to Football Australia.
Following a productive meeting on May 19, 2025, the FSAA was afforded the valuable opportunity to formally present a set of key recommendations to Football Australia's management and executive.
The FSAA Committee is now sharing this submission with key stakeholders across the Australian football landscape.
These recommendations have been created in the spirit of goodwill and with a shared passion for a brighter future for the game. We believe that a strong, collaborative relationship between all stakeholders is essential for the sustained success of our game.
The submission outlines three core, interconnected themes:
A formalised process of consultation: Aiming to establish a structured and ongoing dialogue with the national supporter base, with the FSAA at its core.
The creation of a long-term roadmap for Australian football: Recommending a comprehensive, generational National Football Master Plan to address fragmentation and connect all facets of the game for decades to come.
Stronger communication channels: Proposing a comprehensive and ongoing supporter communication program to demystify the complexities of football governance and rebuild the trust between governing bodies and the football community.
We’d like to thank Football Australia for this opportunity and we look forward to the discussions.
We trust Football Australia will give these recommendations all due consideration and respect and we look forward to discussing them in greater detail with all stakeholders at a future opportunity.
