FSAA Welcomes new Chair and Committee
The Football Supporters Association Australia (FSAA) elected Patrick Clancy as its new Chair following the holding of its 2025 AGM last night.
Patrick is a passionate football supporter of Australia’s national teams and a close follower of the A-Leagues particularly his home-town Melbourne Victory. He also has considerable experience as an adviser to professional sport organisations and governments.
“Having been on the FSAA executive over the past year, we’ve really got the FSAA cranking now and I want to continue this momentum,” Patrick said.
“We are getting listened to by Football Australia and the Australian Professional Leagues, but we can’t rest on our laurels so the work will continue apace.”
Elected to the Deputy Chair positions were Kim Hawkins (Operations) and Blayne Treadgold (Strategy). Michelle Prasad was re-elected as Treasurer while Alex Chisholm is now Secretary of the FSAA.
A further nine committee members were also elected (see full list below).
The outgoing Chair, Will Thompson, has chosen to stand down after a considerable contribution to the FSAA. Will was a founding committee member of the FSAA back in 2023 and has been Chair for the past 12 months.
He will continue to be a valuable source of advice to the FSAA not to mention an ongoing member on the football terrace.
The FSAA is a fully incorporated, membership-based football supporters association. The FSAA remains an independent, volunteer-driven collective of football supporters from around Australia coming together for the good of the game and the millions that support it.
